BRAND IDENTITY

The NVU viewbook served as a comprehensive and visually appealing marketing tool designed to provide prospective students and their families with an overview of the university. It's primary purpose was to showcase the institution's academic programs, campus facilities, and overall unique sense of place.

Northern Vermont University sought an emblem to encapsulate the essence of its new name, symbolizing both the excellence in education and the sense of community and place. Twin peaks, representative of the two campuses, grace the design beneath the northern sky, all enclosed within a distinguished academic crest.

Ranging from pop-sockets to t-shirts, our aim was to provide students, staff, faculty, and alumni with a diverse array of options to express their school spirit. The displayed items are just a glimpse of the numerous offerings available in campus bookstores and online.

Northern Vermont University boasts two campuses, both perched atop the northern hills of Vermont. Serving as a unifying element between these two locations, the light pole banners adorn every pole, each carrying a distinct message designed to support and inspire the community.

The NVU travel book was typically the first printed piece prospective students would experience. Distributed primarily at college fairs, it was often a piece students hung onto and even brought with them when visiting campus for the first time.

The Learning and Working Program sought to spotlight its students and the diverse opportunities within the field. Serving as the creative director for this initiative, I collaborated with a video production team. This involved selecting students, choosing locations, determining the filming style, and conducting insightful interviews to capture the essence of their experiences.
